BIG DAY OUT - SUMMER 2013 / RED BULL NO NOISE
Silent Disco King Australia were proud to be the first Australian Silent Disco Company to supply the staff and headphones for Big Day Out 2013 in the RedBull No Noise Nightclub. Our team of 7 tours all 5 States ensuring crowds in Sydney, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth got to have the best Silent Disco Experience possible. Getting people in and out quickly and having ALOT of fun along the way.
FOXTEL / FOX 8
Silent Disco King Australia had a great time working with Foxtel's Channel FOX8 to promote its newest teen programme Slide. We held Silent Discos in Westfields in different locations Sydney and literally stopped shoppers in their tracks with everyone dancing and singing to a DJ that looked like there was no sound!! The team are always up for getting the dancefloor started even in a crowed shopping centre.
Melbourne Aquarium
SDKA loved the chance to use the kit in a very unique and inspiring way when Melbourne Aquarium used us for their Easter exhibition of Dance of the Rays. The white spotted eagle,southern eagle and Cownose Rays use their strong schooling instinct to move in mass formation like a graceful dance. Our kit provided the sound track. Those visiting the exhibit could choose between children's under the sea tunes and adults a classical music background to watch these graceful creatures seemingly dance around in the tank before them. A very special first for us.
RELAY FOR LIFE - CANCER COUNCIL
SDKA are extremely proud to be teamed up with the Cancer Council NSW Relays for Life. Teams raise money for charity by walking around a track for 24 hours, With our kit the teams can enjoy music together, watch a movie on a screen or music videos, the different events have been very creative with using the kit. An amazing cause and the biggest fundraising events in Australia.
SPACE IBIZA FESTIVAL / RMUSIC FESTIVAL
We love festivals as that was the birth place of the silent disco concept in Europe over 10 years ago now. We love seeing people enjoying silent discos for the first time at these events and also being able to keep the party going into the early hours. Space Ibiza Festival is always so much fun and a great way to see the New Year in Sydney, We have also RMusic festival and splendour in the grass as clients, boutique small festivals are a favourite of ours.
2day fm 2014 & 2015
SDKA teamed up with 2day fm 2014 and 2015 to bring a little silent disco fun to Sydney ride the night Festival. Lots of fun music had those taking part dancing til late and giving them a break fro riding their bikes around a very colour botanical gardens, lit up for the event.
Vivid Sydney 2015
SDKA were intrigued to be involved with Artist Zina Kayes Space Folding a beautiful art installation at Vivid Sydney 2015, the headphones we used with the installation for people to experience the lights and the specially composed music. see link Space folding.
Golden Age Cinema
SDKA's team love a good movie so have been very happy to have our kit used for some amazing silent cinema. We worked with Golden Age Cinema to put on 2 weeks of films at The Spectrum Now Festival in the domain, and also with Flick on the Green at North Sydney where movies and a great back drop of the city made a great experience for all.
